Product Overview

Opel Insignia A Sedan (chassis code G09) is an affordable mid-size sedan in production from 2008 to 2013, whereupon it received a facelift. It was available with a range of inline-4 and V6 engines that displaced 1.4 to 2.8 liters. It was also marketed as Vauxhall Insignia, Buick Regal, and Holden Commodore in select markets.
For the first time in a long time, Opel managed to introduce a somewhat compelling vehicle, although still in the economy class. The insignia has a clean design that, though forgettable, does not offend. It was made available with a wide range of powertrain configurations, including for the first time in Opel sedans, AWD.
Opel has made a good effort in aerodynamics, with a decent 0.27 coefficient of drag to show for it.
