Product Overview

Honda Accord 9 (chassis code CR/CT) is an affordable mid-size sedan in production from 2012 to 2017. It was available with a range of inline-4 and V6 engines that displaced 2.0 to 3.5 liters.
Like before, the Accord 9 was a global car assembled in numerous countries with subtle differences. A range of engines without clearly distinguishable names were available, though only a small subset of them were available in each market.
In this generation, Honda increased the effort in styling. One can say that the Accord 9 is one of the most handsome modern sedans bearing the Honda badge. However, this is also the generation that the Accord lost one of its trademarks: Now the car uses MacPherson strut front suspensions, which is undoubtedly a big letdown.
Further, Honda used even more CVTs. At this point, however, they have become more durable than the first ones that Nissan and Audi put into their cars, ruining the reputation of the technology in the process.
