Product Overview

Hyundai Sonata 4 (chassis code EF) facelift is an affordable mid-size sedan in production from 2001 to 2004. It was available with a range of inline-4 and V6 engines that displaced 1.8 to 2.7 liters.
New for the facelift was the Delta 2.7L V6 and the Sirius II 2.4L I4 petrol engines. The exterior design has been refreshed, too, with a more "modern" front fascia and rear end.
Still, Hyundai used 5-speed manual and 4-speed auto gearboxes and a basic independent suspension setup.
