Product Overview

Hyundai i40 (chassis code VF) facelift is an affordable mid-size sedan in production from 2015 to 2018. It was available with a range of inline-4 engines that displaced 1.6 to 2.0 liters.
With this facelift, Hyundai added a 7-speed DCT to the lineup. Otherwise, the mechanical changes to the vehicle are limited. The car received some restyling, too, which is unsurprising.
Like the pre-facelift model, a basic fully independent suspension setup is used, making it the lowest-end Hyundai to do so in many markets (as the contemporary Elantra and Accent used semi-independent suspensions).
