Product Overview

Hyundai Elantra 6 (chassis code AD) facelift is an affordable compact sedan in production from 2018 to 2020. It was available with a range of inline-4 engines that displaced 1.4 to 2.0 liters.
Compared to the pre-facelift model, the facelift Elantra 6 got a more aggressive front fascia. Its in-car tech was upgraded, too. Hyundai added a new engine as well.
However, there has been no general chassis or suspension updates. The Elantra still uses semi-independent rear suspensions with basic MacPherson front for the standard model. As such, its ride quality and handling remain at the low-end of compact cars. What Hyundai did add was a new "Sport" version of Elantra: this model, besides cosmetic differences, has an independent rear suspension setup.
