Product Overview

Hyundai Elantra 6 (chassis code AD) is an affordable compact sedan in production from 2016 to 2019. It was available with a range of inline-4 engines that displaced 1.4 to 2.0 liters.
Compared to the Gen5 Elantra, the AD model brings further improvements not only in quality but in design. The car is finally presentable appearance-wise, and its interiors are no longer shoddy.
Mechanically, Hyundai introduced a new 7-speed DCT sold alongside the 6-speed manual and auto from the previous generation. Engines didn't grow in size, but they're updated to meet the more stringent emission requirements.
Hyundai has also made a good effort in aerodynamics, with a decent 0.27 coefficient of drag to show for it.
Unfortunately, the Elantra still uses MacPherson front + torsion rear suspensions.
