Product Overview

Hyundai Elantra 4 (chassis code HD) is an entry-level compact sedan in production from 2006 to 2011. It was available with a range of inline-4 engines that displaced 1.6 to 2.0 liters.
Compared to the Gen3 Elantra, Hyundai hardly updated the drivetrain. The car remained underpowered and poorly appointed. However, Hyundai did improve the build quality a little, and the styling was more modern.
The same basic suspension setup limits the handling of the car, though one can hardly imagine its buyers to care about this sort of issues.
