Product Overview

Hyundai Accent 2 (chassis code LC) is an affordable subcompact sedan in production from 1999 to 2006. It was available with a range of inline-3 and inline-4 engines that displaced 1.3 to 1.6 liters.
While today's consumers may find Hyundai vehicles rather attractive and well-built, this was hardly the case just over a decade ago. The Gen2 Accent was lethargic, uninspiring, and poorly-appointed.
Unsurprisingly, it used a basic suspension setup and only 4-speed auto or 5-speed manual transmissions were offered alongside severely underpowered engines.
