Audi S3 (Typ 8V) Sedan facelift is a compact sedan in production from 2016 to 2020. It was available with a single 2.0-liter TFSI engine driving all four wheels.
Prior to 2019, the 2.0 TFSI engine under Euro 6 emission standard put out 310 PS, 10 more than the pre-facelift model. Both manual and DCT transmissions were available. After the Euro 6d standard was forced upon the automakers, the engine lost the 10PS, and the manual transmission was relegated to history books.
For enthusiasts who plan on keeping their cars for the long-term, the last of the 6-speed manual was certainly the one to get. While the 2.0 TFSI has never been known to be that reliable, Euro 6d surely did not help one bit in the right direction.
Styling-wise, Audi made minor changes that include primarily LED lights and more digital gadgetry inside.
Drivers who appreciate handling should keep in mind that the S3 Sedan (8V) uses MacPherson front suspension, which doesn't provide the best cornering performance.
