Audi A6 C7 (Typ 4G) facelift is an executive sedan in production from 2014 to 2018. It was available with a range of V6 and inline-4 engines that displaced 1.8 to 3.0 liters.
Thankfully, Audi got rid of the infamous CVT. Most facelift C7 A6s came standard with DCT. Only the torquey-ist models used 8-speed ZF 8HP automatic transmission. Unfortunately, the availability of manual transmission became limited; only 2.0L models intended for fleet use came with them.
With this facelift, the C7 A6 also went upmarket, again. It received a range of cabin technologies that excited reviewers at the time, although some enthusiasts may consider them gimmicks and doubt whether they could age well.
Audi has made a good effort in aerodynamics, with a decent 0.26 coefficient of drag to show for it. The vehicle also comes with a high towing capacity.
Drivers who appreciate handling will be pleased to know that the C7 A6 comes with multi-link suspensions at all four corners. This provides the best cornering performance and tunability, at the expense of cost and a little bit of durability.
