Product Overview

Audi A6 C7 (Typ 4G) is an executive sedan in production from 2011 to 2014, whereupon it received a facelift. It was available with a range of V6 and inline-4 engines that displaced 2.0 to 3.0 liters.
The interesting engine options were the supercharged petrol V6 (that curiously was marketed as "TFSI" despite having no turbocharger) and the 3.0 BiTDI diesel V6. For the AWD (quattro) models, Audi used the ZF 8HP automatic transmission. Unfortunately, CVT was still used for some FWD vehicles, though DCT was becoming available.
Ultimately, however, the wise option was the 6-speed manual, though it had limited availability.
Audi has made a good effort in aerodynamics, with a decent 0.26 coefficient of drag to show for it.
Drivers who appreciate handling will be pleased to know that the C7 A6 comes with multi-link suspensions at all four corners. This provides the best cornering performance and tunability, at the expense of cost and a little bit of durability.
