Product Overview

Audi A3 (code 8V) Sedan facelift is a compact sedan in production from 2016 to 2020. It was available with a range of inline-3 and inline-4 engines that displaced 1.0 to 2.0 liters.
To many, this facelift is hardly an "upgrade": The petrol engines got smaller, and Euro6d meant more things to go wrong in the (near) future. Cosmetically, Audi has made the effort to present the small FWD sedan as "upscale" as they could, although it really only looked good with the "S-Line" package.
Audi has also made a good effort in aerodynamics, with a decent 0.28 coefficient of drag to show for it. The official fuel economy rating is exceptionally rosy, though it may cast more doubts on the trustworthiness of the regulators and perhaps the owner's own sanity than it relates to reality.
Drivers who appreciate handling should keep in mind that the A3 8V uses MacPherson front suspension, which doesn't provide the best cornering performance. Lower-end models had even more basic rear suspensions.
