Product Overview
Kia Forte / K3 (code BD) is an affordable compact sedan in production from 2018 to 2021, whereupon it received a facelift. It was available with a range of inline-4 engines that displaced 1.4 to 2.0 liters.
The Gen3 Forte has much improved exterior styling, though the engine options are unexciting. New is the 7-speed DCT and Kia's first CVT (marketed as IVT).
The official fuel economy rating is exceptionally rosy, though it may cast more doubts on the trustworthiness of the regulators and perhaps the owner's own sanity than it relates to reality.
As an economy car, the Forte Gen3 continues to have a basic suspension setup
