External Reviews
digitaltrends[1]
Reviewer score 66% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Hasselblad X1D II is a great camera for landscape and fine art photography. It's a beautiful, expertly crafted machine that also happens to be slow and cumbersome. If you don't need 100 megapixels — few among us do — you can't get better image quality.
Pros
- Fast, responsive autofocus
- Excellent image quality
- Fast and responsive touch interface
Cons
- Autofocus is unreliable in low light
pcmag[2]
Reviewer score 66% (normalized by Neofiliac)New to the X1D II is full-resolution JPG capture. The older sensor reads out slowly, making the electronic shutter less than useful for capturing motion. The battery life is pretty bad, so you'll need to carry a few spares, an external power pack, or both if you're out for a full day.
Pros
- Gorgeous design
- Full-resolution JPG capture
- Excellent image quality
- Good battery life
Cons
- Battery life could be better
- Some performance concerns
