Product Overview

Sigma 60-600mm F4.5-6.3 DG OS HSM | Sport is a super telephoto zoom lens for Canon EF-mount, Nikon F-mount, and Sigma SA-mount. It covers the full-frame image circle. Introduced by Sigma in 2018, it has 25 elements in 19 groups.
Like most zoom lenses, the Sigma 60-600mm F4.5-6.3 DG OS HSM is externally-zooming. Fortunately, Sigma has provided a zoom lock that at least stops zoom creep. For incremental weathers, Sigma is kind enough to include weather sealing.
As a super telephoto zoom lens, the Sigma 60-600mm F4.5-6.3 DG OS HSM can be quite useful for wild-life and landscape photography. Built-in image stabilization is almost a must-have at this focal range, and this lens does not disappoint on this front. Owners will also like the available tripod collar.

pcmag[1]

Reviewer score 68% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from pcmag have found:
Sigma bills the 60-600mm F4.5-6.3 DG OS HSM Sports as the first 10x zoom with 600mm reach. There's about 2 percent barrel distortion at 60mm, so straight lines are drawn with a slight outward curve. With correction turned on the lens shows a modest (-1EV) vignette at its widest f-stop.
Pros
  • Wide-angle coverage
  • Full-frame image stabilization
  • Dust and splash protection
Cons
  • Vignette at widest f-stop
  • No telephoto zoom
