Product Overview

Sigma 20mm F1.4 DG HSM | Art is a large-aperture ultra wide-angle prime lens for Canon EF-mount, Nikon F-mount, Sigma SA-mount, Sony E-mount, and Leica L-mount. It covers the full-frame image circle. Introduced by Sigma in 2015, it has 15 elements in 11 groups.
Unfortunately, Sigma has opted to omit weather sealing for this lens, so owners should pay extra attention when shooting in incremental weathers.
The bright maximum aperture for an ultra wide-angle lens is appreciated for night and astro photography. Even though the lens is not stabilized, at this focal range it does not usually matter. In fact, some may be able to get cleaner corners without image stabilization.
Some photographers may be disappointed by the fact that the lens does not accept front screw-on filters.
