Product Overview

Samyang 7.5mm F3.5 UMC Fisheye MFT is a manual-focus ultra wide-angle fisheye prime lens for Micro Four Thirds-mount. It covers the MFT image circle. Introduced by Samyang in 2011, it has 9 elements in 7 groups.
Manual focus may be limiting to some, but purists will find it much more engaging. There are also fewer things to go wrong on the long run. Unfortunately, Samyang has opted to omit weather sealing for this lens, so owners should pay extra attention when shooting in incremental weathers.
As an ultra wide-angle prime lens that is quite compact, the Samyang 7.5mm F3.5 UMC Fisheye MFT can be an interesting supplement for those occasions where a normal lens just won't do. Even though the lens is not stabilized, at this focal range it does not usually matter. In fact, some may be able to get cleaner corners without image stabilization.
Some photographers may be disappointed by the fact that the lens does not accept front screw-on filters.
