Product Overview

Samyang 300mm F6.3 ED UMC CS is a manual-focus super telephoto prime lens for Canon EF-mount, Micro Four Thirds-mount, Nikon F-mount, and Sony A-mount. It covers the APS-C image circle. Introduced by Samyang in 2014, it has 8 elements in 8 groups. It is a reflex / mirror lens, which contributes to its compact nature
Manual focus may be limiting to some, but purists will find it much more engaging. There are also fewer things to go wrong on the long run.
As a super telephoto prime lens, the Samyang 300mm F6.3 ED UMC CS is a specialty instrument best suited for professional sports and wild-life photographers. Built-in image stabilization is almost a must-have at this focal range, but this lens curiously omits it.
