Product Overview

Fujifilm XF 10-24mm F4 R OIS is a zoom lens for Fujifilm X-mount. It covers the APS-C image circle. Introduced by Fujifilm in 2013, it has 14 elements in 10 groups.
Photographers will be pleased by the fact that the lens is internally-zooming, meaning that the barrel does not extend when the focal length is changed. This helps balance and weather sealing; it is also great for long-term durability, as there is less chance for moisture and dirt to get in. The entire lens is crafted out of metal, which imparts a level of tactile sense of quality. On the lens barrel, one can find a physical aperture ring. Those who wish to focus manually can have the best of both worlds (with the usual caveats).

External Reviews

cameralabs[1]

Reviewer score 81% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from cameralabs have found:
Fujifilm XF 10-24mm f4 is an ultra-wide zoom for its X-mount mirrorless cameras. It delivers a 15-36mm equivalent range that's ideal for capturing expansive landscapes, large architecture, or simply big group shots. The optical quality is very good, especially at the wide-end where you want it, and while there's sadly no weather sealing, the optical stabilisation is useful for handheld and video work.
Pros
  • Sharpness at f1.4, f2.8, f3.5, and f4
  • Very good optical quality
Cons
  • No weather sealing
