Fujifilm XF 35mm F2 R WR
APS-C LensProduct Gallery
Product Overview
Fujifilm XF 35mm F2 R WR is a normal prime lens for Fujifilm X-mount. It covers the APS-C image circle. Introduced by Fujifilm in 2015, it has 9 elements in 6 groups.
For incremental weathers, Fujifilm is kind enough to include weather sealing. On the lens barrel, one can find a physical aperture ring. Those who wish to focus manually can have the best of both worlds (with the usual caveats).
A normal prime lens, the Fujifilm XF 35mm F2 R WR does not boast the brightest apertures, though it still may be worth a try for landscape and street photography.

Reviewer score 81% (normalized by Neofiliac) f1.4 enjoys the edge in the extreme corners, the XF 35mm f2 greatly improves as you move into the frame even only a little. In my night tests with both lenses, the newer model out-performed the older one in the mild-corner region. Both lenses are quite capable of blurring backgrounds, and rendering point sources into satisfying blobs at large apertures.
Pros
- Compact and light body
- Weather-sealing
- Quick and quiet autofocus
Cons
- Not as sharp as f1.4
