Sony FE 70-200mm F4 G OSS is a telephoto zoom lens for Sony E-mount. It covers the full-frame image circle. Introduced by Sony in 2013, it has 21 elements in 15 groups.
Photographers will be pleased by the fact that the lens is internally-zooming, meaning that the barrel does not extend when the focal length is changed. This helps balance and weather sealing; it is also great for long-term durability, as there is less chance for moisture and dirt to get in. The entire lens is crafted out of metal, which imparts a level of tactile sense of quality. For incremental weathers, Sony is kind enough to include weather sealing.

As an "FE" lens, the Sony FE 70-200mm f/4 G OSS Lens is compatible with all Sony E-mount cameras. As of review time, direct alternatives to this lens require a lens mount adapter. The f/2.8 lens offers twice as much light at max aperture (with more significant background blur potential)
