Sony FE 100-400mm F4.5-5.6 GM OSS
Full-Frame LensProduct Gallery
Product Overview
Sony FE 100-400mm F4.5-5.6 GM OSS is a super telephoto zoom lens for Sony E-mount. It covers the full-frame image circle. Introduced by Sony in 2017, it has 22 elements in 16 groups.
Like most zoom lenses, the Sony FE 100-400mm F4.5-5.6 GM OSS is externally-zooming. Fortunately, Sony has provided a zoom lock that at least stops zoom creep. For incremental weathers, Sony is kind enough to include weather sealing.
As a super telephoto zoom lens, the Sony FE 100-400mm F4.5-5.6 GM OSS can be quite useful for wild-life and landscape photography. Built-in image stabilization is almost a must-have at this focal range, and this lens does not disappoint on this front. Owners will also like the available tripod collar.
