Zeiss Loxia 85mm F2.4
Full-Frame LensProduct Gallery
Product Overview
Zeiss Loxia 85mm F2.4 is a manual-focus short telephoto prime lens for Sony E-mount. It covers the full-frame image circle. Introduced by Zeiss in 2016, it has 7 elements in 7 groups.
Manual focus may be limiting to some, but purists will find it much more engaging. There are also fewer things to go wrong on the long run. To this end, Zeiss has endowed the Loxia with one of the smoothest focus ring ever fitted to a photographic lens, though some may find it hard to focus on live subjects manually at this focal length.
A telephoto prime lens, the Zeiss Loxia 85mm F2.4 is well suited for portrait photography.
