External Reviews
ndtv[1]
Reviewer score 63% (normalized by Neofiliac)The BenQ EW3880R is large, imposing, and well suited for the computer-bound professional, whether working from home or at an office. Split-screen options include a 1:1 split, 2:1 Split, or a picture-in-picture box for the secondary input. Audio performance is good enough for a monitor and has been optimised for both everyday productivity use and entertainment. However, priced at Rs 97,500 in India, this is perhaps a bit too expensive for a curved ultra-wide model.
Pros
- Wide aspect ratio
- Wide range of connectivity options
- Decent colour accuracy
Cons
- Mediocre speakers
t3[2]
Reviewer score 79% (normalized by Neofiliac)The BenQ EW3880R has a 37.5-inch size, 3840 x 1600 pixel resolution and 300 nits of maximum brightness. We were impressed by the quality of the 2.1 speaker setup (two 3W stereo speakers and an 8W woofer): it's fine for watching movies and listening to music. While the 60Hz refresh rate and 4ms grey-to-grey response times aren't anywhere near best in class for gamers, we didn't notice a huge problem in terms of ghosting or motion blur.
Pros
- Excellent picture quality
- Good sound system
Cons
- Expensive for what it offers
- Lack of integrated audio
