Product Overview

LG 34GP83A UltraGear is a 34-inch ultra-wide, 3800R-curved gaming monitor that is a carbon copy of the 34GN850 from the "N" (2020) model year. While released at the end of 2020, the 34GP83A is a 2021 ("P") model year product and can be considered a "successor".
Like the 34GN850, the 34GP83A uses an LG-exclusive Nano-IPS curved panel with 98% DCI-P3 coverage, 144Hz refresh rate, and 1ms response time. At UW-QHD, it sits at the sweet spot in terms of color reproduction, resolution, and gaming capabilities.
Those that love gaming on curved monitors will adore the 34GP83A, which is also a good performer for other computing tasks, though one may find its price unnecessarily high if speed is not a requirement.

    Reviewers from rtings have found:
The LG 34GP83A-B is a good monitor for most uses. It has a large, high-resolution screen that delivers an immersive viewing experience. While it supports HDR, it can't deliver a satisfying experience because it has a low contrast ratio, no local dimming, and doesn't get bright enough to make highlights pop.
