The early 2021 Schenker MEDIA 15 AMD is a midrange 15.6-inch laptop powered by a choice of AMD Ryzen 7 mobile processors: curiously, both the 4800H based on the Zen 2 architecture and the Zen 3-based 5800H are available.
In essence, this MEDIA 15 shares the exact set of configurable specifications with the MEDIA 17 AMD. This similarity extends to the omission of the two Mini DisplayPorts as well as the upgrades of the full-size HDMI port to v2.1 and the USB-C port to USB 3.2 Gen2. The two display options also mirror those for the MEDIA 17, despite their size differences.
Except for the CPU, the AMD-powered laptop is also identical to the Intel-powered MEDIA 15 in this generation.
For those with different needs, Schenker also markets several other models in the 15.6-inch class.
