Product Overview

LG 34WP65G is a midrange 34-inch monitor in LG's 2021 UltraWide series. While its model name is similar to the 34WP65C, the two differ in numerous key areas. Still, the two are targeted at the same market segment, where users require their productivity monitor to be gaming-ready.
Unlike the 34WP65C, the 34WP65G is a flat monitor. Unexpectedly, it carries an IPS panel, though in this case not the more advanced Nano IPS variant. Another difference is the resolution UWFHD, which is notably lower than the UWQHD found in the curved model.
A key feature of the 34WP65G is the VESA DisplayHDR 400 compatibility, which attests to the monitor's HDR performance.
Another feature that many laptop users will appreciate is the USB-C port in DisplayPort Alt Mode. It further supports Reader Mode for long working sessions. On the other hand, the stand that the monitor comes with has only tilt and height adjustments.
LG also markets a similar monitor in the 29-inch class as the 29WP60G.
