Laowa 17mm f/4 Zero-D is the widest native lens for Fuji's G-mount medium format cameras, on which it delivers a full-frame equivalent of 13mm focal length.
As its name suggests, this lens is part of Laowa's Zero-D lineup, which boasts low distortions across the frame. The 17mm f/4 Zero-D is able to accept 86mm screw-on filters, while it is also compatible with the company's 100mm magnetic filter holder.
At 113 degrees, the 17mm medium format lens affords the photographer more options to shoot with this dramatic perspective. For many urban applications, it eliminates the need of stitching panoramas in post, which can be a frustrating experience.
Like many recent stablemates, this lens uses a 5-bladed aperture that produces gorgeous sun stars.
