The 2021 Lenovo Legion 5i 15" gaming laptop is powered by 11th-gen Intel Core i7 Tiger Lake CPU and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30-series graphics up to RTX 3070. It shares the same design and dimensions with the 2020 model.
Unlike the 2020 model and the AMD-powered 2021 Legion 5, however, the new Legion 5i can be configured with either FHD or QHD IPS display. The 240Hz option is gone, but both the FHD and QHD displays are available at 165Hz with 3ms response time.
Aesthetically, the new Legion 5i comes with two different shades of colors, Phantom Blue and Stingray White, and a new optional Blue keyboard backlight.
Alongside the Legion 5i Pro, Lenovo also refreshed the 17" Legion 5i as well as 16" 5i PRO and 7i to join their AMD-powered sister models unveiled at CES.
