The 2021 Lenovo Legion 7i is a flagship 16-inch gaming laptop powered by 11th-gen Intel Core CPU and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30-series GPU up to RTX 3080 with 16GB GDDR6 graphics memory. Like its AMD-powered stablemate, the Legion 7i features an IPS display with 16:10 aspect ratio that delivers a larger viewing area while making the new laptop more compact than its 15-inch predecessor from 2020.
This WQXGA IPS display offers 165Hz refresh rate, 3ms response time, 100% sRGB coverage, and DisplayHDR 400 compatibility. It also supports NVIDIA G-SYNC for tear-free gaming.
At the same time, the Legion 7i is considerably thinner than the Legion 5i Pro, despite driving more powerful CPU and GPU combinations. Lenovo also exclusively endows the Legion 7 / 7i with Corsair's iCUE RGB keyboard.
Like other 2021 Legion gaming laptops, the Legion sports Nahimic 3D Audio by SteelSeries, which improves upon the previous Harmon speakers for a more engaging listening experience.
Alongside the Legion 7i, Lenovo also refreshed the Legion 5i and 5i PRO to join their AMD-powered sister models unveiled at CES.

Reviewer score 76%The Lenovo Legion 7i has a 720p webcam that accurately captures colors and details. It's unfortunately not quite up to part with other Lenovo webcams, in that it doesn't have a physical camera shutter. This laptop also comes with Tobii Experience, an eye tracking program that uses the built-in webcam to add bonus features to games.
