Product Overview

Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G is the most affordable 5G variant of the company's 2021 Mi 11 lineup. It not only lowers the entry-point to 5G but also retains some of the premium features of its lineage.
Available in three less sophisticated colors, the Mi 11 Lite 5G is fronted with a FHD+ OLED display that refreshes at 90Hz with 240Hz touch sampling rate.
Unlike the 4G variant of the Mi 11 Lite, the 5G is powered by Qualcomm's 5nm Snapdragon 780G chipset. Xiaomi has also upgraded wireless connectivity options with WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. The front-facing camera also enjoys a bump to 20MP.
On the plus side, the somewhat lesser camera setup in the Lite 5G hardly protrudes from the body, allowing it to be one of the thinnest device on the market today. It is therefore a compelling option for those who prefer to shoot with real cameras.

Reviewer score 79% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from gsmarena have found:
Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE is a nicely toned-down version of the flagship Mi 11. It retains some high-end features and asks a typical mid-range price. For the same €399, Xiaomi is bumping up the base RAM to 8GB. For €350, the Realme GT Master Edition might interest you with a faster, albeit less bright, 120Hz OLED display.
Pros
  • Bright 120Hz display
  • Fast 120Hz SoC
  • Good battery life
  • Fast charging
Cons
  • No microSD card slot
  • No stereo speakers

notebookcheck[2]

Reviewer score 71% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from notebookcheck have found:
In day-to-day use, the Mi 11 Lite 5G feels very responsive, thanks to 8 GB of RAM and a 90-Hz screen. Applications start very quickly because it features fast UFS 2.2 memory. When the system is stressed, users may experience some stuttering. The stereo speakers offer a high maximum volume (89 dB(A) and satisfactory sound quality.
Pros
  • 90-Hz AMOLED screen
  • Fast UFS 2.2 memory
  • Good battery life
  • Fast Wi-Fi
Cons
  • No optical stabilisation
  • No IP rating

techradar[3]

Reviewer score 81% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from techradar have found:
aired with a healthy 6 or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, the Snapdragon 780G supplies a fast and fluid experience. Everything here, from home screen navigation to app switching, feels close to flagship level. You'll be able to install all your games, music, and movies onto a standard 128GB of internal storage, and there's also a microSD card slot for expansion purposes. Xiaomi's own Mi Browser alongside Google Chrome is just as pointless as ever.
Pros
  • Fantastic 90Hz AMOLED display
  • Good battery life
Cons
  • No microSD card slot
  • No headphone jack
