Sony FE 50mm F1.2 GM
Full-Frame LensProduct Gallery
Product Overview
Sony FE 50mm 1.2 GM is an ultra-fast full-frame prime lens for Sony's E-mount mirrorless cameras. With the largest f/1.2 maximum aperture across Sony's lineup, the 50mm GM joins the SEL35F14GM and SEL24F14GM as some of the most compact large aperture prime lenses for full-frame cameras.
The FE 50mm 1.2 GM features four XD (extreme dynamic) Linear Motors to deliver industry-leading autofocus performance. Combined with the latest high-performance Sony cameras such as the Alpha 1, the SEL50FE12GM easily sustains high burst rates with object tracking while delivering high image quality.
Speaking of image quality, Sony boasts edge-to-edge sharpness and superior flare resistance, thanks to the employment of XA (extreme aspherical) elements and Nano AR Coating II. The lens's 11-blade rounded aperture and f/1.2 aperture further guarantee smooth bokeh.
Like other recent GM prime lenses such as the FE 135mm 1.8, the FE 50mm 1.2 comes with a de-clickable aperture control ring.
