Lenovo ThinkPad P15s GEN 2 is a lightweight mobile workstation based on the chassis of the T15 GEN 2. Likewise powered by 11th-gen Intel Core processors, the P15s GEN 2 adds a discrete NVIDIA T500 GPU that is ISV certified.

Just like the T15 GEN 2, the new P15s GEN 2 introduces the Storm Grey aluminum option for the first time. It comes with an aluminum top cover that differs from the glass fiber chassis in black. The P15s GEN 2 also comes with the same numeric keypad found in the T15.

Like other high-end GEN 2 ThinkPad models following Lenovo's new naming scheme, the new P15s now offers WiFi 6E. It can also be optioned with LTE WWAN for high performance data connections on the go.

Alongside the 15.6-inch P15s GEN 2, Lenovo also unveiled 14-inch P14s GEN 2 and P14s GEN 2 i powered by AMD and Intel respectively.

The Nvidia T500 replaces the Nvidia Quadro P520, meaning that Turing has arrived in the low-end segment for the first time. The high power consumption of the Lenovo ThinkPad P15s G2 becomes very noticeable in the battery life. The stereo speakers that are placed above the keyboard produce a good average sound, but bass is almost completely lacking.
