Product Overview

Lenovo ThinkPad X13 Yoga GEN 2 i is an ultra-portable 2-in-1 business laptop powered by 11th-gen Intel Core Tiger Lake processors. Compared to its predecessor, the GEN 2 model is even more compact while offering a larger display area, thanks to its 16:10 aspect ratio.
The new 16:10 IPS touch display share the same resolution options as the clamshell X13 GEN 2 i, WUXGA (FHD+) and WQXGA (QHD+). Other features that the X13 Yoga GEN 2 i shares with the clamshell model include up to 2TB PCIe SSD and 32GB LPDDR4x memory.
However, unlike the clamshell model the X13 Yoga GEN 2 i does not come with the aluminum cover option: only black carbon fiber is available.
True to its heritage as a premium ThinkPad model, the X13 GEN 2 i offer security features such as memory-on-chip fingerprint reader, dTPM 2.0 chip, and privacy shutter on IR camera that business users have come to expect.
Alongside the X13 Yoga GEN 2 i, Lenovo also introduced a range of other ThinkPad models, including the X13 Yoga GEN 2, which is the AMD-powered variant of the same model.

Reviewer score 89% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from notebookcheck have found:
Intel Tiger Lake Xe G7 with 96 EUs is installed in our test device. The leap in performance compared to the predecessor is big. The speakers are average, bass is lacking, and while volume isn't bad, it could definitely be higher. An SD card reader is not integrated - a weak point in the otherwise exemplary connectivity.
Pros
  • 16:10 display
  • Long battery life
  • Good keyboard
  • Good input devices
Cons
  • No SD card reader
