Product Overview

Panasonic Lumix S 70-300mm F4-5.6 MACRO O.I.S. is a telephoto zoom lens for L-mount mirrorless cameras. As its name suggests, it combines optical image stabilization (OIS) with semi "Macro" capability.
The new S 70-300mm sports 17 lens elements in 11 groups, including one UED (Ultra Extra-low Dispersion) lens, two ED (Extra-low Dispersion) lenses, and one UHR (Ultra-High Refractive Index) lens. Together, they deliver a minimum focusing distance of just over half a meter at the wide end and a 0.5x maximum magnification at the long end.
Further, the Lumix S 70-300mm offers up to 5.5-stop of image stabilization. Combined with the lens's robust build, including dust and splash resistance, this feature makes the lens an interesting choice for handheld stills and video works alike.
