Product Overview

Razer Blade Pro 17 (early 2021) is Razer's flagship gaming laptop that improves upon the 2020 model with the addition of RTX 30-series graphics. Also new is the QHD option.
Like before, the early 2021 Blade Pro 17 uses 10th-gen Intel Core i7-10875H, due to delays in Intel's high-powered 11th-gen CPUs. Nevertheless, Razer has included a number of improvements that go beyond newer GPUs and more display options: for example, Bluetooth 5.2 is now used in place of the older Bluetooth 5.0.
Also like before, the FHD panel offers a maximum refresh rate of 300Hz, while the 4K IPS display still performs at 120Hz, while covering 100% of Adobe RGB color space. Razer's unique vapor chamber cooling system remains employed here.
Other the strengths of the Blade-series have been kept, including the Precision Touchpad and per-key RGB backlighting with N-key rollover, among others.
Alongside the Blade Pro, Razer also refreshed the Blade 15 at CES 2021.

This is one of the few laptops with a 4K panel capable of both fast refresh rates and deep colors for gaming and graphics editing. The retail box includes a small velvet cloth and a few Razer stickers in addition to the usual paper manuals. The standard one-year limited manufacturer warranty applies. Color space covers all of sRGB and AdobeRGB.

  • Strong performance for the price
  • Good battery life
Cons
  • Only one-year limited manufacturer warranty

The Razer Blade Pro 17 (2021) is an absolute beast when it comes to performance. The model we reviewed comes with an RTX 3080 laptop GPU from Nvidia, and it's currently the most powerful gaming GPU you'll find in a laptop. The 17.3-inch screen allows colors to look bright, vibrant and most importantly of all, accurate. It won't just benefit digital creatives, as games look fantastic on this screen.
