Product Overview

Razer's 2020 Blade Pro features 300Hz ultra-fast refresh rate FHD display and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER graphics. Retaining its compact packaging, the Razer Blade Pro 17 is ideal for professional gamers, designers, and game developers.
Besides the 300Hz FHD display, a high refresh-rate 120Hz UHD panel is also available. The FHD panel covers 100% sRGB, while the UHD option tops 100% Adobe RGB. They are powered by the RTX 2070 or RTX 2080 SUPER graphics card and 10th-gen Intel Core i7-10875H processor (Comet Lake). The rich color gamut and impressive powers make the Blade Pro 17 a compelling workstation.
To maximize the performance of the powerful components, Razer has given the Blade Pro 17 a unique vapor chamber cooler. Paired with a dual-fan system, it allows power users to push the limits of performance without fear of thermal throttling.
Rounding up the 2020 Blade Pro 17 is its rich array of connectivity options in the compact chassis.
Alongside the Blade Pro, Razer also markets the Blade 15 that shares much of the same characteristics in a smaller, 15.6-inch chassis.

The Razer Blade Pro 17 has a 2.8-GHz Intel Core i7-10875H processor with 16GB of RAM. It's one of the first gaming laptops I get to test with Intel's new 10th Gen H Series chips. The laptop ably juggled 28 open Google Chrome tabs while I watched Queer Eye on Netflix.

Intel AX201 comes standard for Bluetooth 5.1 and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity. Color space is narrower than on the 4K UHD 120 Hz option. Outdoor visibility isn't noticeably better or worse than most other gaming laptops. LatencyMon shows DPC latency issues when opening multiple tabs on our homepage.

The Razer Blade Pro 17 is one of the most powerful and most portable 17-inch gaming laptops. It has arguably the best build, can scale to the top components and features, and has the longest battery life. If you're not deadset on a bigger screen, maybe you want to splurge even more for the Asus ROG Zephyrus.

techradar[4]

Reviewers from techradar have found the following***:
Razer has always had excellent design, and the Blade Pro 17 is definitely no exception. The all-black design is only interrupted by a lit up Razer Logo on the back that doesn't even look obnoxious like most illuminated logos do. The keyboard is excellent, if a bit less clicky than we'd expect from a gaming laptop - though that's in no way a bad thing. It also has the best trackpad we've ever seen in a laptop of this class.

Pros
  • Gorgeous design
  • Great gaming performance
  • Great trackpad
Cons
  • Battery life isn’t great

tomshardware[5]

Reviewers from tomshardware have found the following***:
The Razer Blade Pro 17 is in an awkward position for a gaming laptop. It's priced similar to other computers that outperform it in gaming. Its minimal look is enticing, too, but it doesn't feel as impressive in the hands. If all you care about is performance, there are better picks out there.

Pros
  • Sleek design
  • Slim and portable
  • Good performance
Cons
  • No Thunderbolt 3 port
  • Chunky keyboard
