HP's Envy 32 AIO, launched at CES 2020, still feels a bit smaller on the inside like most of its ilk. The $1,800 base configuration comes with a 4GB GTX 1650 as well as a six-core Intel Core i5-9400. The base price is the same as the 27-inch iMac.

Pros
  • Big, bright 4K screen
  • Lots of ports
Cons
  • Low-power Max-Q version
  • No Hyperthreading

digitaltrends[2]

Reviewers from digitaltrends have found the following***:
The Envy 32 All-in-One is a great Windows take on the iMac. It has a 62-watt Intel CPU you'll find on high-powered gaming desktops. It's equipped with the 9th generation Intel Core i7-9700 processor, which has 8 cores. There is no Core i9 option, which loses you the higher thread-count and clock speed.

Pros
  • Stunning 4K display
  • Powerful Intel CPU
  • Excellent speakers
Cons
  • No touch screen
  • No HDMI port

laptopmag[3]

Reviewer score 78%
Reviewers from laptopmag have found the following***:
The Envy 32's seven front-firing speakers and subwoofers produce some of the best audio I've heard out of an all-in-one. While key travel is quite shallow, they have a snappiness to them that let me type quickly and with few errors. The wireless mouse is basic in comparison to the keyboard, and the sensor is responsive enough for basic tasks.

Pros
  • Powerful speakers and subwoofers
  • Excellent battery life
  • Excellent audio quality
Cons
  • No Thunderbolt 3

The HP Envy 32 is a do-it-all desktop for image and video editing. It has a bigger high-res screen than many alternatives, and extra features that let it slip seamlessly into both your lifestyle and your workflow. Its audio is genuinely great, and its features are useful for consumers.

wired[5]

Reviewer score 81%
Reviewers from wired have found the following***:
The HP Envy 32 is the industry's most venerable all-in-one computer short of the Apple iMac. With a body that measures 31.5 inches diagonally, it's a monstrous machine that may challenge many desk environments. A massive speaker bar, courtesy of Bang & Olufsen, runs along the entire bottom of the screen.

Pros
  • Gorgeous 4K display
  • High-end graphics
  • Plenty of ports
Cons
  • Display isn't a touchscreen
