Reviewer score 80% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from digitaltrends have found:
The Aurora R10 is a showcase for AMD's powerhouse Ryzen 3 processors. It's a beast of a gaming PC, even if the high-end options have more cores than most games know what to do with. This desktop also puts the spotlight on what Alienware does best. With great build quality, and fairly simple upgradability, it should last for many, many years.
Pros
  • Powerful AMD Ryzen 3 processors
  • Unique case design
  • Good build quality
Cons
  • No upgradability options
  • No Thunderbolt 3

pcmag[2]

Reviewers from pcmag have found:
The Alienware Aurora R10 is an absolute performance beast. The top-end GPU and the latest AMD silicon together make for a blistering gaming desktop. It's expensive, in part, because of the cost of the Ryzen 9 3950X and the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti. If you're mostly going to play games, save a few hundred dollars and pick a less expensive CPU.
Pros
  • Powerful CPU and GPU
  • High-refresh-rate 4K gaming
  • Powerful graphics performance
Cons
  • Expensive for what it offers

techadvisor[3]

Reviewers from techadvisor have found:
Alienware Aurora R10 and R11 have a wide range of models on offer. Prices start at £949/US$$1,014 and go up to £4,249/US$4,019 depending on what you want. All machines come with at least 8GB of RAM (64GB at the top end) and a range of graphics cards – a GTX 1660 Ti up to an RTX 3090. Dell gives you the option to customise certain elements should you want something dual-GPUs or more storage, for example.
Pros
  • Great 1080p gaming performance
  • Great build quality
Cons
  • Extremely loud fans
  • Loud fans

techradar[4]

Reviewer score 82% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from techradar have found:
The Alienware Aurora R10 is one of the most powerful gaming desktops you can buy. In Australia, there are only two Ryzen Edition R10 models available including a $3,599 priced 8-core AMD Ryzen 7 5800X. There is also a slew of various built-in software including My Alienware, which serves as a hub to other apps including the Alienware Command Center.
Pros
  • Fantastic gaming performance
  • Unique case design
Cons
  • Only two Ryzen Edition models available
  • Only one year warranty

tomsguide[5]

Reviewer score 84% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from tomsguide have found:
Alienware's Aurora R10 is the first Aurora model in several years to offer AMD processors. The R10 ran the orc-slaying action of Middle-earth: Shadow of War at a nice 69 frames per second at 4K and max settings. Up front, you've got three USB 3.1 Type-A Ports, as well as a PowerShare-enabled USB-C port.
Pros
  • Powerful AMD CPU and GPU
  • Sleek design
  • Easy to upgrade
Cons
  • Lacks RGB lighting

tomshardware[6]

Reviewer score 68% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from tomshardware have found:
The Alienware Aurora R10 is a powerful gaming and productivity system. Its look makes a statement and has a great selection of front ports. But the cooling, particularly for a high-end chip, doesn't meet AMD's recommended standards. The base model starts at $1,199 with an AMD Ryzen 5 3500 CPU.
Pros
  • Powerful Ryzen 9 3950X CPU
  • Good overclocking performance
  • Solid build quality
Cons
  • Loud fans
