Product Overview
Dell Alienware Aurora R11 is a mid-tower gaming desktop computer powered by up to 10th-gen Intel Core i9-10700KF processor with 10 cores, 128GB Dual Channel HyperX FURY memory, and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 graphics.
Available in two colors, the Aurora R11 features programmable two- or four-zone RGB lighting. It shares the same design with its predecessor (Aurora R9) and is marketed alongside the AMD-powered Aurora R10.
Compared to the R10, a larger selection of GPUs are available, including the latest RTX 3090 or dual RTX 2080 Ti in an NVLink SLI setup.
To ensure thermal performance in a compact chassis, the Aurora R11 chooses custom, compact graphics cards that, in constrained spaces, offer superior cooling.

pcmag[1]
Reviewer score 82% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Alienware Aurora R11 is a highly configurable gaming desktop with a unique design. It's a benchmark-busting rig that represents maximum power rather than a configuration that goes for value. Choosing extras like 64GB of RAM and a ton of storage only maximizes the price tag, and is not necessary for outstanding gaming performance.
Pros
- Superb 4K gaming performance
- High-refresh-rate 4K resolution
- Excellent ray-tracing
Cons
- Expensive for what it offers
techradar[2]
Reviewer score 84% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Alienware Aurora R11 is a great gaming PC with high-end components. The chassis comes in two color options, Dark Side of the Moon and Lunar Light. We used this gaming PC while testing the Samsung Odyssey G9 monitor. It was able to get great performance, even at the high 5,120 x 1,440 resolution.
Pros
- Fantastic gaming performance
- High-end components
- Easy to service
Cons
- Not as powerful as Nvidia RTX 3090
tomsguide[3]
Reviewer score 70% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Alienware Aurora R11 is one of the most powerful gaming machines we've ever tested. Even Windows appeared to run quicker and smoother than usual. During gaming, the machine essentially becomes a very loud space heater. While Alienware's heart is in the right place, it's disappointing that its bespoke software provides a clunkier experience than the default OS.
Pros
- Sleek, stylish design
- Excellent 1080p performance
- Comfortable keyboard and touchpad
Cons
- Uninspiring software
- Poor battery life
tomshardware[4]

- Excellent build quality
- Excellent overclocking
