Product Overview

LG UltraGear 27GN750 is an entry-level 27-inch IPS gaming monitor with 1ms response time and 240Hz refresh rate. It supports both NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync.
Boasting the speed of TN panels, the IPS panel in the 27GN750 offers considerably richer color gamut and higher dynamic range. It comes with both 100x100 VESA mounting points and a stand with height, tilt, and pivot adjustments.
Compared to higher-end models, the 27GN750 does not use LG's latest Nano IPS panel, which boosts color reproduction and dynamic range, though it offers a higher, 240Hz refresh rate.
In its 2020 lineup, LG also markets the 4K UHD 27GN950 and the QHD 27GN850 gaming monitors in the 27-inch class.

Reviewer score 70% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from rtings have found:
The LG 27GN750-B has a very high 240Hz refresh rate that produces very smooth motion, it supports FreeSync VRR and it's G-SYNC compatible. The response time at 60Hz is also amazing, so it's a great choice for console gaming. The 1080p resolution is too low if you're editing 4k videos and its stand doesn't allow for a wide range of adjustments. It's not good for dark room viewing as it has a low contrast ratio and black uniformity isn't the best.
Pros
  • Outstanding response time
  • Wide viewing angles
  • Excellent gray uniformity
  • Great peak brightness
  • Very good reflection handling
Cons
  • Low contrast ratio
  • Doesn't display a wide color gamut
