Product Overview

Gigabyte AORUS 7 is a 17.3-inch mid-range gaming laptop that features 10th-gen Intel Core i7-10750H, up to RTX 2060 graphics, and 144Hz display panel with 72% NTSC wide gamut. Sharing much of its configurable specifications with its smaller brother, the AORUS 5, the 17-incher differs in offering DDR4-2933 while dropping the lower-spec'd display.
Like other devices that bear the AORUS marque, the Gigabyte AORUS 7 is designed for gamers. This is reflected in the latest iteration of WINDFORCE Cooling System that can handle up to 100W, allowing for un-throttled CPU and GPU performance. It consists of dual 47-blade fans, four heat pipes, and three vents.
Other features include 15-color backlit keyboard and nahimic 3D audio.
Gigabyte markets several other gaming laptops in the same generation: the 15-inch version of the AORUS 7, the AORUS 5, the thin and sleek AORUS 15P, AORUS 15G, and AORUS 17G, and the flagship AORUS 17X.

Reviewer score 78% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from techradar have found:
Gigabyte Aorus 7 is the most affordable way to get ray tracing. Can play Metro Exodus at ultra settings with frame rates easily past 30fps. The 17.3-inch size is nice and big, and while 1080p isn't the highest of resolutions, games still looked great on it. Full HD resolution allows the laptop to hit high frame rates.
Pros
  • Excellent gaming performance
  • Excellent build quality
  • Good battery life
Cons
  • Battery life could be better
  • Loud fans
