Product Overview

Gigabyte AORUS 5 is a 15.6-inch mid-range gaming laptop that features 10th-gen Intel H-series processors, up to RTX 2060 graphics, and 144Hz display panel with 72% NTSC wide gamut.
Like other devices that bear the AORUS marque, the Gigabyte AORUS 5 is designed for gamers. This is reflected in the latest iteration of WINDFORCE Cooling System that can handle up to 150W, allowing for un-throttled CPU and GPU performance. It consists of dual 47-blade fans, four heat pipes, and three vents.
The AORUS 5 has a light and compact design for a full-featured gaming laptop, with thin bezels that allow the 15.6-inch machine to be fitted into a chassis the size of yesteryear's 14-inchers.
Other features include 15-color backlit keyboard and nahimic 3D audio.
Gigabyte markets several other gaming laptops in the same generation: the 17-inch version of the AORUS 5, the AORUS 7, the thin and sleek AORUS 15P, AORUS 15G, and AORUS 17G, and the flagship AORUS 17X.

techradar[2]

Reviewer score 73% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from techradar have found:
The Gigabyte Aorus 5 has the latest Intel Comet Lake processor, a 2.6GHz Intel Core i7-10750H to be precise. With 6 cores and 12 threads, the CPU is a multitasking champ when it comes to everyday use and it's boostable up to 5.0GHz. The keyboard, meanwhile, is a full keyboard, so lovers of the ol' numpad can rejoice. On ultra settings, we were able to get 43fps playing Total War: Three Kingdoms and 42fps while playing Metro Exodus.
Pros
  • Gorgeous design
  • Excellent gaming performance
  • Excellent keyboard
Cons
  • Battery life could be better
  • No Thunderbolt 3
