Product Overview

HP Pavilion Gaming 15 (15z-ec100) is an affordable gaming laptop powered by AMD Ryzen H-series processor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 16-series graphics.
Sharing the same chassis as Intel-powered 15t-dk100, the AMD Ryzen 7 4800H that can be configured here benchmarks significantly higher than Intel Core i9-10885H that is found in many flagship gaming laptops, let alone the i7-10750 found in the Intel version of the Pavilion Gaming 15. Indeed, it is also significantly more powerful than the Ryzen 7 4700U found in the OMEN 15 15z-en000.
HP also markets 16.1-inch and 17.3-inch models in its 2020 Pavilion Gaming lineup.

Pros
  • Gorgeous 144Hz display
  • Good battery life
  • Good gaming performance
