Product Overview
The 2020 HP Spectre x360 15 is a compact and lightweight 2-in-1 laptop powered by 11th-gen Intel Core Tiger Lake CPUs. It supports both Thunderbolt 4 and WiFi 6.
Like other Spectre models, the HP Spectre x360 15 retains the iconic diamond-cut all-aluminum body and the 360-degree hinge. It also offers both IPS and OLED display options in 4K UHD.
In the 2020 Spectre lineup, HP also markets the more fashion-forward Spectre Folio and the more classic Spectre x360 13 in the 13-inch class. There is also Spectre x360 14 that offers a 3:2 aspect ratio display that shares with them roughly the same dimensions.

digitaltrends[1]
Reviewer score 82% (normalized by Neofiliac), and that's by a hair. The touchpad isn't quite as outstanding, primarily because of its small size. If you want the Spectre x360 15's form factor with better battery life, then you'll want to opt for the version with a 10th-gen quad-core Intel Core i7-10510U CPU and the low-power 4K display. We wish the warranty was longer than a year.
Pros
- Gorgeous 2-in-1 design
- Beautiful OLED display
- Powerful components
Cons
- Battery life could be better
pcmag[2]
Reviewer score 83% (normalized by Neofiliac)The $1,849 Spectre x360 15 can certainly serve as a casual gaming machine. Its AMOLED screen, the 4K worth of pixels to push, and powerful hardware drain its large 72.9-watt-hour battery. Trimmer display bezels put it on par with some elite non-convertible 15-6-inchers.
Pros
- Gorgeous 4K AMOLED display
- Powerful Intel U-class processor
- Good battery life
Cons
- Somewhat heavy for a convertible
- No Thunderbolt 3 port
pcworld[3]
Reviewer score 78% (normalized by Neofiliac)The HP Spectre x360 15 is a bit of a strange beast on the performance front. While it handles entry-level gaming fairly well, it's also prone to running hot. The laptop's 4K OLED screen is a joy to behold. Still, expect a high-end laptop's not quite the workhorse you'd expect.
Pros
- Gorgeous 4K OLED screen
- Sleek design
- Comfortable keyboard
Cons
- Middling battery life
- No Thunderbolt 3 port
