Product Overview

HP Spectre x360 13 (13t-aw200) is an ultra-thin and lightweight 2-in-1 laptop powered by 11th-gen Intel Core Tiger Lake i5 or i7 CPUs. Both FHD IPS and 4K OLED displays are available, while Thunderbolt 4 and WiFi 6 represent some of the latest connectivity options featured on this device.
Unlike the Spectre x360 14 of this generation, the 13-inch model retains a conventional 16:9 display, though the panel specifications are almost identical otherwise. Interestingly, the Spectre x360 13 is slightly wider than the 14-inch model, though its footprint is offset by the significant reduction in depth.
Like previous Spectre models, the latest HP Spectre x360 13 retains the iconic diamond-cut all-aluminum body and the 360-degree hinge. It also offers OLED display options for both FHD and 4K UHD.
The efficiency brought by the 10nm Tiger Lake processor increases the battery life of the Spectre x360 13 to 22 hours and 30 minutes. With USB-C, the laptop can receive 50% of charge in just 30 minutes.
In the late-2020 Spectre lineup, HP also markets the more fashion-forward Spectre Folio in the 13-inch class. There are also Spectre x360 models in 14-inch and 15-inch classes.

Reviewer score 94% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from laptopmag have found:
The HP Spectre x360 13 can play less intensive games, stream 8K videos or export 4K files. It can't run the latest games at high frame rates or execute real-time 3D rendering. The battery lasts 12 hours and 32 minutes while browsing the web with the screen set to 150 nits.
Pros
  • Sleek design
  • Long battery life
  • Comfortable keyboard and touchpad
Cons
  • Nothing in particular

notebookcheck[2]

Reviewer score 88% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from notebookcheck have found:
The 2019 Spectre x360 13 comes with 11th gen Intel instead of the older Spectre X360 13 with 10thgen Intel. The biggest reason for choosing the 2019 model is its increase in graphics performance over the Iris Plus G7. Battery life is shorter, the display is dimmer, and image quality appears poorer.
Pros
  • Bright 4K OLED panel
  • Slim bezels
  • Long battery life
  • Fast Wi-Fi
Cons
  • No Thunderbolt 3
  • No Thunderbolt 4

Reviewers from pcmag have found:
All five 2-in-1s showed good stamina, and should easily get you through a full day of work. If you don't mind settling for 1080p rather than higher resolution, the Spectre x360 13 is a fine platform for managing a photo collection. The two HPs and the Dell have enough left over for an evening's streaming entertainment.
Pros
  • Gorgeous 3:2 aspect ratio display
  • Sleek design
  • Good battery life
Cons
  • No Thunderbolt 3 port

Reviewers from tomshardware have found:
The 13-inch HP Spectre x360 continues to be one of the best-looking notebooks on the market. Its battery life is impressive, and the Bang & Olufsen audio is pretty good for a 2-in-1 laptop. The 720p camera in the Spectre x 360's bezel produces blurry images and doesn't capture color well.
Pros
  • Excellent battery life
  • Sleek design
  • Strong performance
Cons
  • Short battery life

trustedreviews[5]

Reviewer score 93% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from trustedreviews have found:
Colour reproduction is good although, unsurprisingly, not at the same level as the step-up 4K OLED HP Spectre x360 13. The LCD screen can’t quite replicate the deepest of red, greens and blues, the tones that can make a vibrant image with larger-than-life colour look super-vivid. The Intel Core i7 CPU also comes with Intel’s new secret weapon: an Xe graphics chipset.
Pros
  • Gorgeous 4K OLED display
  • Excellent battery life
  • Excellent keyboard
Cons
  • No 5G support
