Reviewer score 63%The Omen 17 is one of the slimmest RTX 2080 laptops available. While the components become relatively warm under load, they do not heat up too much. The combination of high-end hardware, a relatively slim case and the missing graphics switching software leads to very loud system noise. The device becomes particularly loud when running 3D applications.

Reviewer score 80%The HP Omen 17 (2020) is a very capable laptop. Its configuration means it is easily able to crunch through any tasks thrown at it. It can handle the day's most demanding games to very high levels. The IPS screen does a fantastic job, and sports a 144Hz refresh rate which is ideal for fast-paced games like Apex Legends.
