Product Overview
HP ZBook Create G7 is a high-end business laptop with powerful graphics and processors in a sleek package. The mobile workstation variant of the Create G7 that features Quadro graphics is the ZBook Studio G7.
The ZBook Create G7 is lightweight and compact, thanks to HP's VaporForce thermal solution that comprises a vapor chamber and razor-thin liquid-crystal polymer fans. It also features HP's DreamColor display with 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and HDR capability as well as Bang and Olufsen audio.
In the 2020 ZBook lineup, HP also markets the ultra-portable ZBook Firefly in 14-inch and 15.6-inch guises. There is a less compact variant of the Studio G7, the ZBook Power G7, which is more affordable, as well as the flagship ZBook Fury in 15.6-inch and 17.3-inch guises.

laptopmag[1]
Reviewer score 84% (normalized by Neofiliac)It took the ZBook Create G7 7 minutes and 21 seconds to convert a 4K video to 1080p using the Handbrake app. HP uses a new cooling technology called Z Vapor Force, and it works. The 720p camera does a very nice job for an integrated shooter but like most webcams, you should make sure the lighting is optimal.
Pros
- Gorgeous 4K display
- Sleek design
- Good battery life
Cons
- Lackluster graphics performance
- No bloatware
pcmag[2]
Reviewer score 87% (normalized by Neofiliac)All four Windows notebooks easily cleared the 4,000 points that indicate superb productivity in our most important benchmark. The ZBook's 2.4GHz Core i9-10885H blitzed these benchmarks, taking the gold medal in Cinebench and posting an exceptionally fast time in Handbrake. The Create and Aero tied for the win, but any of these systems will deliver image-editing nirvana.
Pros
- Gorgeous 4K OLED display
- Sleek design
- Excellent battery life
Cons
- Slightly stiff keyboard
- No Thunderbolt 3 port

For a laptop speaker, the sound on the Create is fantastic.

tomshardware[4]
Reviewer score 67% (normalized by Neofiliac)The $4,459.77 HP ZBook Create G7 is a great workstation if you want to leverage consumer components towards their maximum potential. The laptop also comes with an overabundance of utility apps, to the point where they almost start to feel like bloat. Just looking at it, you wouldn't know it packs the power it does. But its audio roars, and it beats the competition on tasks that are popular with content creators.
Pros
- Powerful graphics card
- Strong audio performance
- Compact form factor
Cons
- Overabundance of utility apps
- Runs hot during casual tasks
trustedreviews[5]
Reviewer score 72% (normalized by Neofiliac)Intel Core i9-10885H is an eight-core mobile powerhouse. It's joined by an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q, which means the usual 2,304 stream processors and 8GB of memory. There’s a generous 32GB of dual-channel memory, and a 1TB Samsung PM981 SSD. Internal connectivity is handled by dual-band Wi-Fi 6. The keyboard and trackpad offer good quality, the screen is crisp, bright and easily good enough for creative work.
Pros
- Excellent build quality
- Excellent performance
