Product Overview

MSI GS75 Stealth is a 17.3-inch premium ultra-portable gaming laptop that can be equipped with up to 10th-gen Intel Core i7 processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 graphics.
To take full advantage of these powerful chips, the GS75 Stealth features MSI's proprietary Cooler Boost technology with the 3 fans, 7 heat pipes, and the world's thinnest 0.1-mm sharp-edged fan blade design. Compared to the full-size GT76 Titan, the GS75 Stealth trades the most extreme configurable options for the ability to game in long sessions on the go. It also offers an optional 300Hz display that is the highest in the 17-inch segment on the market.
Other notable features include per-key RGB gaming keyboard by Steelseries, the Killer LAN and wireless cards, high definition audio, and large selections of ports.
MSI also markets the 15.6-inch version of the 10th-gen Stealth gaming laptop, the GS66 Stealth, which offers maximum battery life and can be configured with a 4K UHD display.

Reviewers from digitaltrends have found:
The MSI GS75 Stealth is a strong performer in the graphics department. It comes equipped with the most powerful mobile graphics card you can find. It's a very comfortable gaming experience, especially on the keyboard and palmrests. With good battery life, an impressive screen, and great gaming performance, it still has certain strengths over its competitors.
Pros
  • Lightweight design
  • Great gaming performance
  • Good battery life
Cons
  • No G-Sync screen

notebookcheck[2]

Reviewer score 52% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from notebookcheck have found:
The GS75 is equipped with the 80-Watt version of the RTX 2080 Max-Q instead of the 90 W variant. This explains why there's a performance difference compared to the Asus GX701GX, which performs around 10% better across all 3D tests. Under the hood, the CPU heats up particularly. The Core i7-8750H made itself comfortable at around 90-95 °C during our 60-minute stress test with the Furmark and Prime95 tools.
Pros
  • High-quality case
  • Good input devices
  • Good system performance
  • Good battery life
Cons
  • High temperatures under load
  • Only one M.2 slot

pcmag[3]

Reviewer score 73% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from pcmag have found:
MSI's GS75 Stealth is a solid entry-level gaming laptop. It's making good in the GS65 Stealth on the thin-design concept with a reasonable weight, sturdy build, and long battery life. It falls just short of earning an Editors' Choice since the performance doesn't truly exceed the top "Pascal" cards.
Pros
  • Sleek, lightweight design
  • Good battery life
  • Solid performance
Cons
  • Dim display
  • No Thunderbolt 3 port
