Miele Generation 7000 In-Wall Steam Ovens

Miele Generation 7000 Steam Oven is the fifth model series by the company that introduced this category of cooking equipment. Two dozen models of 45cm or 60cm classes in the 7000 series fall into four types: DG 7000 steam oven, DGM 7000 steam oven with integrated microwave, DGC 7000 combi steam oven, and DGD 7000 pressure cooker.

The DG 7000 steam oven is 6% more spacious than its predecessor and features a linen-weave surface structure impervious to scratches. The powerful steam generator pipes steam into the oven through two ports (DualSteam). The new arrangement of these nozzles reduces heat-up times and ensures uniform distribution of steam, an aspect particularly important at low temperatures.

The DGM 7000 is both a full-fledged steam oven and a full-blown microwave oven. Whereas the previous generation demanded a choice between steam and microwave cooking the DGM 7000 combines both in the new "Quick Cooking" setting.

The DGC 7000 is both a full-fledged conventional oven and a full-blown steam oven. It also supports "Combi Cooking", which adds steam in conventional oven cooking for a special result. The "Mix & Match" function intelligently recommends the proper use of steam and combi cooking. All combi steam ovens now feature BrilliantLight LED interior lighting and new hinges (SoftOpen & SoftClose). MotionReact and DirectWater Plus are available on higher-end models.

The DGD 7000 pressure cooker can operate between 101 and 120C, cutting cooking times by around 50%. It can also cook without pressure.
